Cant get Pro Tools to find MC Control

Hello there.

Ive been having some problems with my MC Control in Pro Tools and wondered if anyone could help?

I have the surface set up and it controls Logic under Eucon perfectly but no matter what I do I cant seem to get it working In Pro Tools while emulating HUI.

I have added Pro Tools to the euphonix system preference pane but when I go into Pro Tools and assign the controller, though the ports show up, when I assign them the surface doesnt update and I cant control anything. I am running the latest version of EuControl with the latest firmware installed.

I have tried:

Downgrading Eucontrol and firmware to version 2.5.5
Re-Installing eucontrol
Removing MIDI drivers that might be conflicting
Running a permission repair
Trashing EuControl and Pro Tools preferences then starting again.
Pretty much all the FAQs on the euphonix site.
I have also tried getting hold of euphonix support but the email for on their site doesn't work as it auto fills the email address section then says you haven't provided them with a valid email while not letting you change it.

Has anybody else had any experiences like this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of Pro Tools are you running?

If it's 9.0, you should set it up using EuCon. Remove it from the Euphonix system preference panel then, in Pro Tools, go to Setups>Peripherals>Ethernet Controllers and enable EuCon.

Im still using Pro Tools M-Powered 8.04 so HUI only :-(
