Welcome to the club!

The RNC FMR product is kindof famous around these parts as a great sounding unit and good value for the doller (see threads on the subject) I bought 2 of 'em from Mercenary Audio (also a really nice company) about a year ago w/their rackmount adaptor. A couple of slight mechanical alignment issues (LED's) to doing that - but nothing showstopping.

As for the compressors - they haven't let me down yet - they're great for everything I've run through them (rock and folk instruments and vocals)... now I just wish someone would make a 2 or 4 preamp (I'm NOT talking about the existing RNP/RNC rack) rackmount for a couple of the the RNP's (Really Nice Preamp) the performance of the RNC has earned my business on their mic pre!

check this out...almost makes the FMR stuff look like a lunchbox full o' API stuff. It's not a rackmount setup, but it's very cool...and I'd buy the system if it didn't cost more than another RNC would.

Not sure which ones you referring to, my guess is, you were referring to the "custom" Vertical Faceplates

Funk logic makes a line of custom racking options for FMR products - the RNC and RNP. The VRT system is a very cool way to rack your RNC's and RNP's in a little oak box with sweet face plates. So - the comps and preamps are NOT part of Funk logic's prices - those are just for the face plates. You supply the RNC and/or RNP for each slot.
