LE 7.1 or 7.3 with Native-Instrument plugs
I have been using 6.4 for a few years now and I've just upgraded to 7.3 for some of the new features, but my NI plugs need to be updated now. I'm curious how the NI plugs are working with LE 7.1 or 7.3. Expecially Battery and Kontakt----- are there any bugs I should worry about or is it safe to spend the money on the upgrades. I know the versions I was using with 6.4 were OK but they did have quirks that were never worked out.
and what about FM7 and pro 53 do those work with 7.1 or 7.3? |

Re: LE 7.1 or 7.3 with Native-Instrument plugs
HI,
I too use Battery but still waiting for my PT7.1 to arrive (also my sig says other ) When you look at the NI Forums, Battery 3 seems to be a bag of bugs. Battery 1 & 2 should work fine in 7.1 However, though not optimzed for the new RTAS engine but BT2 with multiple outs, that is:if you don´t went Intel. I am waiting some more WHEN to upgrade from BT2 to BT3, since NI usually let´s Battery users waiting for upgrades. regs regs

Re: LE 7.1 or 7.3 with Native-Instrument plugs
Having major issues with B3 & PTLE7.1. Kits not loading/being saved...too many bugs to list. Save your money for now, I've gone back to B2 to save pulling all my hair out. Very disappointed with B3 & Kore. My last NI purchase EVER!

Re: LE 7.1 or 7.3 with Native-Instrument plugs
Plugs need to be updated to work with Version 7.
From Digi: Plug-In Compatibility Make sure that all Plug-Ins are compatible with Pro Tools 7. -Open MacHD>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-Ins -Check the Version of each Plug-In You can check the version by selecting the plug-in and go to the "File" menu and choose 'Get Info', or hit Command-I and look at the version information under the 'General' Section -Digidesign Plug-Ins should be version 7.0 (Dynamics III version 6.9) or higher -Check with third party plug-in manufacturer's to confirm that the plug-in version you have is compatible with Pro Tools 7

The UB Version of Kontakt runs fine for me, but Reaktor is a complete farce.

Re: LE 7.1 or 7.3 with Native-Instrument plugs
Kompakt works fine with PT, as does Absynth...although, I'm not a big fan of the new browser in Absynth 4
