Default Can\'t bus D-Verb to 1&2

I hate the short delay in Low Latency Monitoring. It is annoying. And..I want my vocalist to be able to hear some reverb while in session. However, I cannot input/insert D-verb on a track and not have the problem with Low Latency Monitoring. The fix I received from a forum member seemed sound, but it did not work for me. Here is how it was explained:

1. Use Output 1& 2 for all your tracks.
2. Create a new stereo Aux track and send input to bus 1& 2. Put the D-verb plug on this track.
Set your hardware buffer to 125 or 256 via the Setup menu at the top of the screen in "hardware".

The first problem with this is that when I try to send input to bus 1&2, there is only an option to send it to higher buses 5&6, etc. There is no "1&2" available in the drop down.
Secondly, There is no hardware buffer settings available under "Setups". There is a "harware" topic, but all it lists is peripherals" digital input and clock as well as sample rate.

Can someone please tell me how to avoid the probelm with Low Latency Monitoring and assign a track just for the D-verb that others can hear while tracking?
Please!!

Thanks,
Joel

Anyone?
I red somewhere that I could create an Aux track for the D-verb in the 002 software and bus it somehow so my vocalist could hear it in his headset mix while recording. The problem is, I can't get him to hear it unless Low Latency Monitoring is "off".
What is an easy way to get this in the headset mix without dismissing the Low Latency Monitoring. I just hate the short delay when it is off. Also, it was recommended that I use bus 1& 2 but I only see buses 5 & 6 and above?
Why is that?

Press Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new track. Select 1 new mono aux track. Assign the input for the new track to any unused buss and insert DVerb (mono/stereo) across the new aux track (set it to 100% wet). Ctrl + click on the Solo button of this new aux track which you can name "Verb"... the solo button will become grayed out.

On the vocal track that you're recording on, create a new send which sends to the same buss you used as the input for your Verb track.

Push up the return fader (on the Verb track) and push up the send fader (on your vocal track).

Look under Setups>Playback Engine

Route a Send from the channel you want to effect to Bus 1& 2... or any bus you choose to set up on the Aux channel. Note that there are up/down buttons on the send>bus menu and Bus 1 & 2 are at the top of the list. It's possible that you have the menu scrolled to the bottom.
Hope this helps

Set buffer to 125 and CPU usage to 85%. Take it out of Low Latency Monitoring.

Set your input on Aux track to 5&6. Bus your vocal track to 5&6. Ctrl-Click on verb solo button.

Thanks everybody, but there is no Bus 1,2,3 or 4.
There are only 5,6 and up.

I cannot find a "botton" to enable me to scoll up to see the buses in 1,2,3 or 4. It is highly likely that I am just that, a newbie and can't find things that aren't attached, but I have searched high and low.
Any more specific instruction to be given here?

Thanks for being patient with me.

Joel

Just use any buss.. it doesn't matter what number it is.

You probably deleted your busses in your I/O setup.. if you want them back.. go add them there.

Thanks eveyone for all of this. Just as you indicated, I must have deleted the 1,2,3 & 4 buses some how. I was able to restore them as prescribed.

One last question on this issue: Is there anyway at all to enable the Low Latency Monitoring while using any of the inserts like "D-Verb"?
Right now, the only way I can hear the effects is to disable this.

Thanks again,
