Default Got to buy new headphones tomorrow: Suggestions?

I've been using these Sennheiser (sp?) HD 440's (?) for just about forever. Open, sort of flat against the ear with foam. Can't say they were comfortable, but I thought they were basically accurate.

Sony 7506, AT, Sennhheisers, I don't know. Just want some solid headphones that are accurate, comfortable and durable. That won't color the sound and aren't fatigue inducing. Is that so much to ask?

ANY suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

EjA

I've got a pair of Sony MDR-V600's. I really like them. Nice flat response. Extremely comfortable. I can have them on for hours at a time and the've never bothered me. I think they are running just under 100 bucks. And I think they have a newer version of them. Had them a little over a year now and no complaints so far. Hope this helps.

I've got a pair of Sony 7506's. It's my first pair of "pro" headphones, so I can't base my opinion on much experience, but they've got a nice, clear sound and they're pretty comfortable. They ran me about $100. No complaints...

Howdy, I've got a pair of AKG K240 DF headphones that are the most listenable ever, and super comfortable, but they are 600 ohm, so they need a lot of juice, and they are a little light on bass, but man are they clean and clear. Mostly I use the Sennheiser HD 580 series, very close to the 600s, but only about half as expensive. Happy listening.
