Default Hardware/ Software discrepancy w/ Command 8?

Ok, 6.4 adds support for the new Command 8 mixer and also adds +12dB faders in the software. Then why does the Command 8's faders only show +6dB on the board? hmmm...

Hmmm, I didn't think about that before...I guess the numbers on my 002 won't be accurate anymore...not with the new more like analog feeling tapers and all...
