This ^^^^ except for me, it's while voicing. My record behind the glass is 11. On one remote directed record it took 3.5 hours to voice a :30 second commercial.

Man, I love this! Any time a seasoned actor is given a line read I just shake my head in disapproval, internally of course. However, I'm sure the director can sense my disgust.

I set up meeting with folks in Toronto once. Was hard to wrangle execs from different companies together. One of the execs who was supposed to be there got a last minute message to me though his admin that he could not make it as he had a sudden lunch meeting called with "Bill". I remember thinking: 1. How dare you blow off my meeting, and 2. who TF is Bill... Turned out, yes that Bill. I forgave him.

True, although I do a lot of ADR, so I try to make the best of it. Luckily it pays well...But nothing like 7 people "supervising" via zoom, all with their own feedback to confuse and frustrate the talent!

The first example they kept coming back to the first take. The 3.5 hour remote session for a :30, they were comping takes. Too many "cooks" stirring the pot.
