...yea but only with the new 8-core machines with the “Harpertown” processors. Not too great.

Yeah, its funny the machine that 99.9% of us don't have gets approved first. I guess it kinda makes sense from one point of view because it allows people who want to buy a brand new system to go out and get a new Mac Pro with Leopard. Honestly, I couldn't really care less about HD support for Leopard right now because I just want to keep a stable machine and not mess with anything. However, I am really looking forward to LE on Leopard so I can use my Mbox 2 on my laptop.

And Apple released it's 10.5.2 update today as well. I feel like I'm in some type of software purgatory. No use upgrading to PT 7.4.1 on my Dual Core Xeon, and can't upgrade the OS because PT may not be compatible with 10.5.2 when Digi's finally ready to drop it's Xeon compatibility update for 7.4.

joy.

Though thanks for the heads-up, Tony.

I'm on 10.5.1 and been using Leopard and PT HD since day one.

7.4.1 IS running JUST fine on my G5 Dual 2.3 GHZ.

This far I have not been able to tell the difference 'tween 7.4 and 7.4.1 - besides the fact that PT has NEVER run any smoother than what I have experienced on Leopard.

So, all your plugins are working under 10.5.1 and PT 7.4.1?

So now I want to know: is it possible to install an HD3 Accel PCIe in the new MacPros (I mean, any news regarding compatibility of ALL three PCIe slots with HD Accel PCIe cards)? Thanks !

Yes they are - the only ones causing a disabled foot is waves of course...

SSL bundle works - while only 20% of the Diamond bundle works.. BUt waves will fix it soon, they say

Besides that - Leopard is the Bomb and so is PT running on it...
