Then I should unplug what I have been using for years on both my LE and HD systems? (of course this was all pre 8)

Pro Control is only compatible with Pro Tools HD. Doesn't matter if it is 8 7, etc. JUST HD.

Yes it does. All previous PT's have mixer profiles, all profiles work the same, they just don't include the Procontrol one with LE. You have to put it in yourself. (OK?)
Now I need to know if anyone has there hand on a PT8 Procontrol profile yet and that it works ok or can I use one from 7.4?

Oh man, I guess you guys never heard of the Procontrol from DIGIDESIGN! It is a legacy controller that is discontinued but still used in many professional companies such as my own. So if your referring to the MACKIE CONTROL UNIVERSAL PRO then check your post!

Had to do it!

Notes:
Digidesign D-Control, D-Control ES, and D-Control Fader Packs are only compatible with Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel systems.
Digidesign D-Command and D-Command Fader Pack are only compatible with Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel systems.
Digidesign ProControl, FaderPack for ProControl and EditPack for ProControl are only compatible with TDM systems.
D-Control and ProControl control surfaces are are not compatible with Pro Tools LE systems.
