Using a 192 Digitial I/O with SRC

I'm considering getting a 192 Digitial I/O but I have Soundcraft 328XD mixer which puts out 24 bit/48k. Does anybody know if the SRC in the 192 Digitial will sound any different (better) than just sticking with getting a 96 i/o (No SRC) and just using 24 bit/48K? I'm considering taking Digi up on the exchange program and was wondering about my interface choices.
