Effects delay on tracks

Re: Effects delay on tracks
Why are you using effects while tracking? What plugin are you using that is giving you so much latency?

Re: Effects delay on tracks
I'm using something like a pitch shifter. Do you know of any good auto tuners (not antares)
thanks willl3

Either way, a "pitch shifter" or "auto-tune"-like plugin, is not something you want to be using while tracking. Plugins like that are meant to be used after you have recorded the parts; during mixing. If you need to do additional tracking over an effected track, you should print the effect to track. If you want a great "pitch correction" software, I can recommend Celemony Melodyne. It is by no means "automatic" and can not really be used like you are trying to use it, but as I mentioned, you shouldn't be anyway. It's not even recommended to run Antares Autotune in real time; you should always process the actual track.
