Default System Tray & Task Monitor function...

What functions do these perform?

I've read about removing task monitor from the startup menu and wonder whether it's using up system resources that can better be used for PTLE.

jbr,

Yes- remove task monitor. It does eat up resouces. All you need to run PT is Explorer and systray. Anything additional slows you down.
