Default Newbie Question - Monitor..

I have an issue/question..you can see in my signature what my system setup is...I do voice-over work and am a newbie...have everything connected correctly or so I think, yet when I listen back via my monitors, only one of them provides playback...thoughts, suggestions? Thank you kindly! Within the mac's preferences for sound output it says there is no audio control when i select the mbox 2, like there is when I select it for input (via the mic)

power to the 2nd monitor? cable hanging loose? if you hear one, and you make a master fader in Pro Tools and see metering on both channels, it's unlikely to be a software problem.

I have power plugged into both speakers, they are KRK Rokit G2s 8"...each speaker has its own power cable..and they both light up on the front so they are getting power..XLR cables into the back of each speaker then they go directly into the TRS ports on the mbox 2 mini...if I switch the ports, on the back of the mbox it appears as though only the right channel is working...thoughts??
