It would be fun to know more about you Duc'ers that are running PT10 / 9 with NON AVID audio devices.
Both you guys that have issues and those of you that dont.

Reply short info about :

1. Type of PC hardware.
2. Type of audio devices.

3. Do following actions force PT to restart?
- Change buffer size within a project / session.
- Change sample rate.
- Close/open projects with different sample rate.

Feel free to add more info and actions to the list.

Asus Z68 mb, i7 2600K, 8 Gb (matched), Siig FW card, NVIDIA Quatro NVS 295. SSD Corsair Force and two Samsung, all internal Sata2.

Audio.
TC Impact Twin.

All actions above force PT to restart.

- Change sample rate. ---closes session,protools stays open
- Close/open projects with different sample rate. works fine

alesis mastercontrol ---all of the above force protools to close

problems vary with different hardware and drivers, clearly.

also, motu stable at 64buffers alesis needs 128buffers
