Default Using Mbox 2 Pro as Default Windows Device Issues

Hi,

I haven't found any thread related to my exact issue.

I'm trying to use my Mbox 2 Pro as my default Windows 7 soundcard. It works with Pro Tools like a charm so drivers are not my problem, but, when I open let's say itunes, it plays music but if I pause it, then it looses connection, it won't play anything and the program just freezes.

If I close itunes (or media player, Gtalk or whatever I'm using at the moment) and reopen it then it plays back again.

Is there a way to fix this?

It's just curiosity, I'm buying some pc speakers for everyday stuff. It's my home studio's one, and I do a lot of editing and sampling here with my monitors but I also use it for everyday stuff, so... just curiosity.

Thanks in advance
