G4500/Digi001

I'm going to buy a G4500 soon but just to make sure it was compatible with the Digi001, I called Digidesign tech support..they were very nice and I was suprised that I got connected so quickly..anyway, I was told that the Digi001 has not been tested with a G4500. Does anybody have this machine running digi001 and if so, are there any problems..also..I have an adaptec 2940UW2 card that I would like to use with the G4500. Is this card compatible with this computer?...Also, which plug-ins do you get out of the box with the digi001..thanks.

Johnny ! I already have G4 500 with digidesign 001 and I don't have any problem.Also Digidesign not recomends
Adaptec controller (just ATTO) because they not be testet.I use Adaptec SCSI controller 29160N and Seagate HD 10.000rpm SCSI 160 and I don't have any problem

I have a G4 500 001 and it works great. I use a Adaptec 2930 and Yamaha 8424.

When you run PT the first time it may hang for 15-60 minutes before asking for the auth code. Relax get a cup of coffee and come back later. After that its fine.
