MBox Monitor levels and white noise on playback

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get started with LE and MBox. I’ve sent off my registration but cannot get technical support until Digidesign receives my registration card. I’m on a deadline so getting answers soon is important. I was wondering if anybody out there would humor a newbie and answer a couple questions:

1. I’m running the outputs of the Mbox directly into some KRK V6 monitors. How can I control the volume of what I’m monitoring through these speakers?

2. I recorded some keyboard, but when I play it back, there is white noise present. How can I stop this?
