HDio & 192 cooling
Hey guys,
If you have your interfaces (mixed HDio & 192s) in a rack. Would they require extra cooling? I realise they all have inbuilt fans, though the 192s seems to run hotter for some reason. Thanks for your help Robert

A pair of HD IO's and a 192 here. Stacked tight but a fair amount of room on the sides and have been there for a solid 2 years without issue.

I think you're right that a lot of it is to do with the amount of room on the sides for sure.
Do you have them high up in the rack or lower down?

Mine are at the bottom of a double-wide with about 4" of space behind(top and both sides)

they are fine stacked one on top of the other.
it is ONLY the sides that need ventilation at the fans are placed on one side, withe the vent holes on the other.
