Default DAE errors - Help Needed

so for the past few days pro tools has been running really wierd. the play back is too fast for the computer to pick up and i cant pick up any sound when recording. i cant seem to locate the problem because i dont know what it is. all i know is that when i try to either play music or record a box pops up saying DAE error 9903. i dont know if this is a simple settings issue or an m-box issue. ive checked the online forums for similar errors, read the manual for similar errors, and also tried calling the digidesign tech support but still no answer from any of the three. if you can help me based on the information i have posted, then please reply. if you need more information on the issue to help then i can post what you need. thanks.

Yes.

Well.

You are posting about the M-Box? Then you are posting in the wrong section. The M-Box uses Pro Tools LE and this is the forum for Pro Tools M-Powered, the version of the software that runs on M-Audio hardware.

Apparently, the "M" in the name of both products confuses a lot of people.

So the Pro Tools LE Windows Systems: 003, 002, Mbox, 001 is where you should be.

Then when you get there, you will need to read the General Troubleshooting - Pro Tools 6 & 7 Win XP post. There is important information there about compatibility and configurations (very important when using Pro Tools; pay close attention to them and make sure you follow them very precisely), and also information/instructions at the end of the post about how to post the details about your system that we need to help you solve your problem.
