Default Re: ACID AND PRO TOOLS

I use SOHO to move ACID files (or any file) back and forth between my G4 and my PC. It's $50, you can buy it online from their website and since it uses NetBEUI you can still access the internet with your existing TCP/IP settings. Oh yeah, I connect them with a Netgear (DS104) hub. My broadband connection goes in the uplink port and the two boxes connect to 2 of the remaining ports. But if you use a dialup modem then I think you just leave the phone line connected to the PC or Mac. But if you have broadband in the uplink port they can share a connection...too much information. Yes, you can. You have to take care wich type of disk you burn....there are some incompatibilities. For example....dont use long names since the pc wont understand. Other then that: good solution, i use it to go from mac to pc and after some strugles its working great!
