Mbox and Ti with 6.2.3 error 9136
I cannot record for more than a second or two, I get a prompt that says: "CPU usage is holding off USB audio. Remove some plug ins, delete some tracks, or increase the "H/W buffer size" in the hardware setup panel. (-9136)
I have done all of these, I have even tried it on a new session with no plug ins and the only track is the one I am trying to record, and it still gives me the same error. I read on the compato page that my computer may have lower performance, but to not be able to record for more than a second is substantial. Please help. Re: Mbox and Ti with 6.2.3 error 9136
I have same problem just comes down to not enough CPU power, you gotta upgrade to 1ghz or better to get Panther / PT 6.2.3 / Mbox. My Emac 1ghz G4 workes great with Panther 10.3.2 and PT 6.2.3 on a mbox.
try doing a seach oon this site for Emac / Mbox ...

Re: Mbox and Ti with 6.2.3 error 9136
I thought it was a speed issue, as ridiculous as it sounds, but when I can write 24 tracks of 24 bit audio to my system drive with no problems, but if I try to write to a oxford 911 firewire drive that meets all the specs it gives me my favorite error -9136. In my own uneducated opinion I think that there may be something with the program, since I have tried everything from creating a new user to replacing the drive, the cable, uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and the idea that the jump from 10.2 to 10.3 can render a 400 mhz computer into a paperweight is saddening. I am not looking for tons of tracks and plug ins, I would just like the performance I had with PTle 6.1 with the "advances" of 10.3.2, that is what I thought 6.2.3 was. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
