automation auto join behaviour
Hello,
more than ofter "auto join" command seems not to work properly: when crossing the vertical red line, the faders on the surface stay in position as they should be, but the effective volume is not updated and continues to play at the old level. This happens to me randomly in different studios with different Pro Tools versions and different control surfaces (from S4 to S3, S1 and older tascam 2400). This forces me to use manual join just before reaching the red line. Any advice? thanks. Last edited by Mave911; 08-02-2023 at 01:57 PM. |

Re: automation auto join behaviour
Are your tracks in latch mode? It doesn't work in other modes.

Re: automation auto join behaviour
Hello,
Yes of course they are, and the automation is written as it should be, but the volume rests at the previous level, as the automation was not updated. This happen randomly. Disabling the control surface doesn’t resolve, so I presume depends on Pro Tools. Cheers. |
