Avid, Please fix this phase issue, or the 7.1.4 and 9.1.6 bus is completely useless!

There is no 7.1.4 or 9.1.6 bed.
Anything over 7.1.2 is being processed as an object.
This is a Dolby decision.

I of course know this. Just a slip of tongue. The point is the issue. No matter how it is processed. There shouldn't be phase issue.

I have finally found where the phase issue comes from after two weeks! I found the Madi outputs from my Protools interface assign 8 channels to a group. So 128 channels are assigned to 16 groups. The signals from Group 1,3,5,7 are perfectly aligned. And the signals from group 2,4,6,8 are perfectly aligned. But, the signals from group 1 and 2, 3 and 4 are not perfectly aligned. That’s where the phase issue comes from.

So if I choose object 11 to 16 and object 25 to 32 and object 41 as the 9.1.6 bus outputs, then there is no phase issue at all. I don’t know if this is the problem from my Madi interface or from Protools. But anyway, I solved it for now.

Might it be your SSL Delta Link somehow? Not sure and I'm probably not correct here, but Solid State Logic XLogic Delta Link MADI HD is no longer available that I can see which is sometimes good or bad...
VIntageKing and Sweetwater no longer carry it even in the States, but one reason I got the MTRXII with TB3 option card added in. It will run Natively into my Mac Studio here. THE Module for MTRX II and MTRX Studio providing 256 channels of native low-latency I/O connectivity and routing between multiple Core Audio-based DAWs including Pro Tools. Just not sure about my thinking here, but will watch the rest of your video you posted today. Just got home from a long hot mountain bike ride. On vacation.
