Avid Control "NoName" folder tracks
I've been experiencing this for a while now. On occasion, in larger mix sessions, when I make a folder it will display as "NoName" on the Avid Control app. The folder name will show up fine on my linked Avid S1 . Closing and opening the session, or closing and opening avid control fixes the issue.
I am running a 5th generation iPad with OS 16.7.4 with the latest avid control app (2023.11). Eucon is hosted on an M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro on Ventura 13.6.5 running in native silicon mode. The iPad is connected via ethernet to a router that is dedicated to eucontrol (camera kit + usb to ethernet adapter). WIFI is off and it does not connect to the internet. I kept some logs from the most recent incident if Eddie or someone else in a position to fix it sees the post. Thanks |

Re: Avid Control "NoName" folder tracks
Thanks Eddie. Appreciate it.
Seems to be tied to heavy sessions on the host computer. In a session with just tracks playing back with no processing I don't often see it. If I have a mix almost finalized & lots of plugins / routing already going, I'll see this happen fairly often when I do a big session-wide operation like making a track folder. |
