IPad Workflow with S1 or Dock?

I wondered what others are doing about powering/charging/powering down their IPads when using PT Control.
Personally I find it a bit of a faff to have to individually power down each IPad at the end of the day.


I've got a USB hub that can provide enough power for charging the IPads which was a challenge in itself to find, but I find that even if I power down the IPads and leave them plugged into the hub, sometimes I come back the next day and the IPad has restarted itself overnight, and gone flat.
So now I have to invidually power them down and unplug them to stop this.
Is there a better way?


A setting on the ipad to shut down when USB power is not present would be nice, but I don't hold out any hope of Apple implementing that.

I leave my iPads on power 24/7 and just hit the button to blank them out(put them to sleep). I only power cycle them maybe once a month(and updates will also power cycle them.

When they are sleeping, they shouldn't go flat that quick, mine lasts a few days, I just leave them plugged into the Dock/S1 and at night press the power button to sleep them.
