002 with PT 10 problem... please advise

Hello all. I am having trouble with my new system recognizing my 002. I just upgraded my Mac to an intel based iMac running Lion, and also upgraded to Pro Tools 10. Problem is, when I get into a session, PT won't run through my Digi 002. Downloaded all the driver updates I could. I have looked at the hardware setup and it seems like the 002 is there - a firewire icon and it says digi hw (002) in the list on the left - but I can't use mics through it at all. It only recognizes the internal mic on my Mac.

Also I tried going to my system pref and checking things out there, and this is weird: I have an icon that says "digidesign Mbox 2" on the bottom where it says "other". When I try to configure that I get a message that it does not run on intel macs. I don't know if that has anything to do with my problem but... ?

Any help on this would be awesome. It seems really simple, and I have not heard of too many problems with 002 and PT 10, but I am stuck. Thanks in advance.

Same problem here.

But i've only just connected it all up.
Lion 10.7.2
PT 10.1

I've installed the driver file 002_and_003_Family_Drivers_v90_r3_73509
I think thats the latest?

Fixed.
Install the above mentioned driver pack.
Delete apple and Digi audio prefs (preferences > Audio)

Restart
Open PT
Open Playback devices
Select 002

btw, i didn't have the mbox preference pane in my sys prefs.

For any that are still having troubles, remember that holding the N key when opening Pro Tools is the way to get the window where you can choose the audio engine(AKA, the device for recording and playback).
