Moving out of the Stone age to Mac Studio
1. Is there anyway to use a RME FF800 with Mac Studio?
2. Best way to connect DVI monitors to Mac Studio? I'm a pensioner now and this will likely be my last music computer. Non commercial use. I've been getting by on my 2010 Mac Pro,5,1 which works fine for tracking real audio but is pretty useless for any virtual instrument adventures. Any help would be appreciated B.

Re: Moving out of the Stone age to Mac Studio
TB3 to TB2 adaptor + TB2 to FW adaptor. Or, a TB hub with a FW port but to my knowledge, they don’t make any these days, so you’d be looking second hand and would still require the TB3 to TB2 adaptor.

As you can see, it will require a bunch of adaptors, some which are quite expensive. FYI - I do both of these conversions outlined above on my current setup and they work flawlessly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
