Re: Snapshot Help
yeah i guess its called a bypass switch...
the section im refering to is the top right hand bit on the D-Show screen at the moment ive come up with a work around = ive set up duplicate channels for those i need to change plugins on between snapshots...(not ideal but its getting the job done) |

Re: Snapshot Help
Hi,
Using snapshots it's possible to change which plug-ins are inserted on channels. The routing to/from plug-ins is stored as part of the PLUG-INS scope on the Snapshots page. Make sure the plug-ins are first added to the snapshot, using the small MIDI/Plug-Ins section at the top right of the Snapshots page. Sheldon |

Re: Snapshot Help
This is a perfect segue to plug the Avid VENUE Webinars. There are 2 that cover snapshot use.
http://www.avid.com/elqNow/elqRedir....com/p80031603/ http://www.avid.com/elqNow/elqRedir....com/p33947031/ I bookmarked them. Snapshots are powerful tools and multiple views of the webinars are most helpful. |

Re: Snapshot Help
Add-on question...
When you store snapshots, it stores everything, then you can scope what you want to recall... When adding a plugin to a snapshot, does the snapshot remember what the plugin looked like at the time of creating the snapshot, or does the snapshot only retain plugin information when you add the plugin to the snapshot? |

Re: Snapshot Help
Snapshot only remembers plugin settings if it's added to the snapshot

Re: Snapshot Help
You have to explicitly add plugin(s) to a snapshot, from the plugin overview window. Button on lower-right corner of each plugin (below the insert button). If you do that, the snapshot will remember the plugin knob settings.
