AutoHotKey and ALT/WIN Key Issue: Anyone Solved?
I've tried searching the forum and have reached out to a few people haven't yet found an answer.
So, anyone who has attempted to make macros is probably aware that Pro Tools takes control of the ALT and WIN keys in a weird way, so when you program those keys they don't work. Has anyone discovered a way around this? I tried reassigning ALT to a function key thinking maybe AHK is simulating the actual keystroke input of the keyboard somehow... no dice. Obviously, there has to be a method of input that works because if you plug in a keyboard and hit ALT, it does what it's supposed to do! There's got to be a way to wrap AHK or macro keyboards as if they're the actual keyboard. |
