PT 7.4.2 and PT 8.0.1 on same System Drive
Can PT 7.4.2 and PT 8.0.1 co-exists on the same system drive?

No, they cannot. You would have to have 2 separate partitions with 2 separate OS installs - one for each Pro Tools version.

I just wrote a post about this exact issue on my blog:
http://www.protoolsisawesome.com While you can't install them both on the same partition, you CAN make multiple partitions on the same physical hard drive and then do multiple installations. Highly recommended. |
