i still haven't tried Heat. (my renewal doesn't come till May.) is it really all that? I've been using McDSP Analog Channel 1 as the first insert on every channel for as long as I can remember, but hey it'd be cool to not have to, I guess.

Heat isn't available for Instrument or Aux tracks, so keep that McDSP insert ready!

Workaround to use HEAT with Instrument and Aux Tracks:

Bus Instrument Tracks and Aux Tracks to their own Audio Tracks
