Anyone using a Yamaha CS6R sound module?

I have been back and forth with Yamaha concerning the CS6R. The module doesn't receive program changes or after touch etc when using it with Protools, Cubase or Digital Perfomer sequencing software. The tech says the only way to do it is to rewrite each patch to accept program changes and modulation etc. I have done this with a few patches but as you may know, this takes up way too much time. Has anyone figured out how to get around this problem? I don't necessarily trust the tech support from Yamaha being that they first insisted this wasn't a problem. I have already updated the software in the module and it still doesn't work. Please help if you can

By the way, concerning the above, I have eleven other sound modules in my setup and they all work fine both from Protools and Cubase.

I haven't tried my CS6R with midi through protools yet, but I have had trouble using any of the editing programs for MAC (for the Cs6R and the PLG-AN plug in) and I think it may be a problem with the digi midi.

It is a drag that the synth seems to lack the ability to make some global changes such as the ones you mentioned.
