Default Precision control with volume automation

Hi All,

In one of my sessions, while a track is in volume automation mode. I am able to hold the control key while clicking on a volume automation point and move it 1 db at a time. In another session i don't have this control and it's impossible to move the volume precisely where i want it. I don't know what i did to get this enabled in the one session. can someone tell me how to turn this on?

Its pro tools 12.5

Thanks,
