Macpro 1.1+pci-e coreHD1+ Protools HD10, anyone have this combo?
I have the original Macpro quad 3GHz with 6 gigs of ram, running lion.
I'd like to get the Pcie HD1 core card(not hdx) and run HD10 and heat. I'd run maybe up to 32-40 tracks some tdm plugs, sound blender eventide factory etc, some accel plugs, impact and revibe. Also occasional use of transfuser and strike. Anyone running this setup? Thanks! |

You're not going to get much done on an HD1, you'd need at least an HD2 system.... and even that'll be tight.
