MP3 Import capability
I recently purchased MP3 Option for ProTools 5.1.1 From Digi's description of the plug-in I thought I would be able to import MP3 files into a session. When I try to do so I'm told that ProTools does not recognize this file type.
I believe I have the plug-in installed correctly because I'm able to bounce files into MP3. The .pdf that comes with MP3 Option offers no help. In fact, it says that there are shareware programs and other programs like Quicktime available to play and convert MP3s. It gives no indication that MP3 Option is supposed to do this. Did I misread Digi's description of MP3 Option capabilities? Is there something I'm not doing correctly? Thanks in advance for your help. |
