PT 2021.7 not seeing Kontrol S61 MK2 in Peripherals Mid Controllers.

So I've kind of been having some issues and with the help of Sweetwater we got to the bottom of thing and we ended up installing PT 2021.10 and just installing 2021.7 but now PT isn't seeing NI Kontrol S61 MK2 in the peripherals Midi Controllers. The keyboard is working and is showing up in Midi Input Devices and running the Komplete Kontrol plugin but it is now not in peripherals. Does anyone know a fix or how to get it happening? It was working fine in 2021.10 though the rig itself was struggling, now the rig is rocking but the keyboard is nowhere to be found.

Thoughts?

In Peripherals “ MIDI Controllers” do you have it selected in # 1,2,3 0r 4?

Also in midi input enable is it checked on to the green button? Under setup MIDI MIDI input devises?

Check those items out, it must set up MIDI Studio in system Preferences as well.

Delete all the Facebook 360 plugs from your plugins folder. That’s what the issue was for me.

I'm not sure I'm following what happened here. Did you install 2021.10 or 2021.7? To fully support NI Kontrol S61 MK2 controllers you need Protools 2021.10. It is the first version to offer this support so previous versions like 2021.7 do not support these controllers.

Ok so the plot is thickening, with PT 2021.7 I can't get the S61 to switch from one instance of Komplete Kontrol to the next, it's totally dead. I am so bummed out. The keyboard is working and the plugin is too but when I highlight and record enable a second instance of the Komplete Kontrol plugin the keyboard stays on the first one, I have to make the first one inactive for the S61 to switch to the second one. This is a major bummer and apparently because I'm using an HDX card in the Avid chassis I cannot use 2021.10. This is absolutely absurd. All this money spent and I feel stuck now. Does anyone know a fix??
