Need a recommendation on SATA PCI Card

Hi, I finally got my ProTools LE & 002R rack up and running last week, and everything was working good. I'd get the Buffer errors every now and again, but it would usually clear itself right up. We had recorded a few small song (no more then 8 or 10 tracks total), over a couple of days without a problem.

Then when mixing down one of the song down, I started getting constant Buffer errors, both the Increase (-6088) and the Decrease (-6085). After two days or re-tweaking, re-installing and going crazy I finally tracked it down to my SATA Audio drive. I'd copy the session over to the IDE system drive and it would playback flawlessly... So I'm assuming the problem is the on-board SATA controller. It's off a Giga-Byte MB, forget the model but it's a K800 chipset. Also it's set to IDE mode not RAID in the BIOS. Windows XP sees it as a SCSI drive, so there's no UDMA modes or anything, and the option to turn write-caching off is greyed out.

Seeing as it's a 300 GB HD, I figured the cheapest solution would be to get a PCI SATA controller and was wondering if anyone could recommend one that they've had success with in there system...

No suggestions? I really don't want to get another mobo, or just start trying cards untill one works....
