Default Waves Sound Shifter or Digidesign Time Shift as TCE?

Which would you say is better? Looking for a tool to help align vocal tails without affecting audio quality.

Sound Shifter is better to my ears on the tests I have done...

X-Form even better still...

you might try using the xform elastic audio algorithm as well and comparing results...

I would run the X form algorithm on a second vocal track and only drag down the words you need changed and then do it...

IN eleastic audio I usually work in poly mode then switch to rendered X form in the end.

Thing I like about this is that in real time poly mode and using the time compression trimmer tool the waveform moves in real time so lining up vocal tails is easy... the audio moves as you drag out or in the waveform...

so try it both ways and see the result...

so easy to duplicate the track and try different things and see what works. .

But for sure those 2 options would be better than the stock time shift.

Soundshifter all the way. None of the Digi algorithms hold a candle to it on any test I have ever done.

Waves Sound Shifter is a great Plug. That is what I am using.
Just do the test. See what you like the best.
