problem with midi keys and rewire...
Hi Folks,
I have an evolution ekeys (really small 3 octave keyboard) for playing in simple parts. Right now I am using it to trigger reason sounds (in redrum for example) and with rewire recording it into PT. Because the keyboard is so small, only the bottom 4/5 notes actually trigger anything, the rest seem to be "off the scale" Does anyone kow of a way to get rounds this, there's nothing in the operating manual of the keyboard, as its basically just a toy? Its just a midi instrument in the USB slot of my g4 powermac. Thanks in advance, Andrew EDIT: hmmm- if i trigger say a rhodes keyboard in say NNXT, it works fine all the way across the register, so my question is really, how do you arrange the samples in redrum to be triggerable from higher up a midi keyboard? |

Re: problem with midi keys and rewire...
AFAIK, Redrum always looks for notes coming in starting at C1. Most small controller keyboards, like an oZone, will allow you to shift the keys up and down the octave. I'd look around to see if you can get your ekeys to shift.
