Digi 96 and Digi 192?

Is there any difference between 2496 only converters from 96 and 192? Are there ad/da converters different as far as 2496?

Im planning to use only 2496, if theres no difference, Il stick with 96 and have Digi PRE as my partner. The only big difference is there input/output slots.
