But for the price of M-Powered software only (street $259.00), you can almost get a Mbox 2 Mini AND the latest Protools LE (street $279.00).

And if you take that route, lets say you planned to get the 7.3 upgrade. Well you be getting that with the mini. So its like saving another $49. So the mbox 2 mini is really $230. best.

Unless you want to leave the mbox forever. and not pay a few hundred to stay in ptle world.

I WANT to stay in the PTLE world, its just frustrating that i have a MBOX sitting here that puts out white noise, and i have FOLLOWED all the requirements, ie download firmware ect and still get noise, and I have to but another one in order for this to work!!! but it seems that if i want to make this work...I need to buy that mini...dang that sucks!!!

I had the dreaded white noise problem during my PTLE 6.4 & 6.7 days. Could be the computer. I'm talking about a unpredictable blast of white noise not induced hum noise.
