Default TDM PCIx Cards in Magma AND Native Card in PCIe

Any idea if this will work? (Not at the same time of course...)

Details: A "Gainestown" 4.1 Mac with the Magma chassis running an HD3Accel PCIx system. Add a Native card to an open slot in the Mac.

Obviously, Native card will ignore the Magma, esp. if it is turned off.

What about the TDM rig? Will it run even though there is a Native card in the computer?

Best...H

Yes, it works as you think. TDM will ignore Native, but Native needs chassis to be turned off. This was the behavior when I demoed the Native card a few months ago.

Yes I've installed this before
Just turn off the chassis and reboot to make the transition from HD into native Hd
You. Will need to move a cable Attached to the IO from the HD card to the native card
But it's painless

Nice for true comparison of your system.

Have you tested a maxed out HD3-Magma session.. does it open with headroom and remain responsive in native?
If so would you retire the HD3-Magma from your system?
Or is this solution for TDM-Only plug-in access?
