Digidesign 002 Control surface & Cubase SX3

Hi Community

I am hoping someone can guide me through this transition.
At the risk of sounding like a heretic I am switching to Cubase SX3 & Reason from Pro Tools Le simply because I enjoy making music more with that software arrangement.

My question is in two parts:
1. Can I get the Digi002 surface control to work with Cubase SX3. If so, what do I physically have to do in order to make that happen.
2. If not, can somebody recommend a control surface that locks in really well with Cubase.
