error 7401?

I just installed the demo version of Amplitube on my PowerBook G4 (w/ mBox), and protools recognizes this on the plug-ins drop down menu, however I get the message "The plug-in could not be made active because a DAE error was encountered (error #-7401)" when I try to activate it. What could I do to fix this problem?
