Default Paning a stereo channel

Hi,
Imagine you want to pan "80" left, both channels of your stereo track. How can you do it without having to pan each channel indivudualy? Is any way to "link" channels in a stereo track for editing

You will need to do each side. It really only takes a few seconds anyway. If you're panning both sides of a stereo track to the same "place", you may as well save your track count and use mono tracks. Having said that, I don't always pan a stereo track hard left/right either. You can also split a stereo track into 2 mono tracks and mute/hide 1 of them(disable its voice to free up cpu power).

open the floating fader window for the stereo track. on the top right corner of the window you will see 2 icons , i believe one looks like a sideways figure 8 and the other is a line with a arrow attatched on each end. when the figure 8 is clicked both pan knobs move in the same direction, when the figure 8 and the link arrow is selcted pan knobs move in opposite directions. good luck
