Default DB-33 control mapping

Hello all, I borrowed a very cool organ control module by Voce that has drawbars and buttons for all the important controls of the typical Hammond. I can map all the controls with the Learn function and make it work perfectly. Unfortunately, I cannot get DB-33 to remember this so every time I call up the plugin, I have to remap every control(which is a PITA). I have saved a preset, saved the mapping, tried to import the mapping(I can find the saved map file and import) but nothing works. First question is; does anyone have a solution? Second question is; does anyone have this issue with other controllers(like M-Audio Axiom) or do they all work fine and remember control mapping? BTW, midi is patched out of an Ensoniq keyboard to the midi Merge input of the Voce and note triggering is fine under all circumstances.

Hi Dave

I'm not seeing this on the Axiom Pro in Transport Mode (MIDI Controller mode). And this is how...

*Right-click Drawbars>MIDI Learn>Invert Range (Axiom Pro Group S Faders)
*Save Plug-In Settings to Session folder>Save Settings As
*Removed DB-33 from Insert
*Inserted DB-33
*Librarian Menu>Session's Settings folder

Now that we got rid of the sales BS, thanks for checking that. I found the manual for the Voce piece on the internet but it really is no help. I will fuss with it some more before I give up on it.

Dave that Voce is a MIDI Controller right not a Control Surface? Plug-In Mapping is for supported Control Surfaces.

I can't really answer that one. I'm not clear on what the difference is. When all the controls are mapped, it is absolutely brilliant. I am shocked that there is no way for PT to remember the mapping setup....boo....hiss.......

Dave I'm not sure what the difference is either, if I recall DigiTechSupt said something about there needing Control Surface hardware with in the device. This said though a MIDI Controller Mapper like a Control Surface Plug-In Map would be cool. Here CC assignments could be recalled from a Saved Plug-In Setting. But then again every time you change Plug-In Settings the CC assignments will be lost.

Sadly, it appears I am out of luck on this. After another hour of remapping and saving in every possible way, the mapping disappears once the session or plugin is closed.

Hi Guys,

Could you tell me how you were able to get the Learn function to receive MIDI at all from your controller? So far I am stuck there. PT LE 8 instantly receives MIDI note data from my USB Line 6 KB37, but I don't seem to be able to set it up in the Peripherals > Control Surface tab. Is this necessary, or is anyone configuring it differently?? Mainly, I'd like to control audio effect parameters for a plug-in inserted on an audio or return track.
Thanks!
