Default Midi Communication Problem

Hi - I'll cut to the chase!

Midi - Has midi info and is routed to use Reason
Audio 1 - Has a reason insert.Output is Bus 1-2.
Audio 2 - Input is Bus 1-2. Output is 1-2. It is set to record/standby

The first time I load up a song the MIDI Plays nicely. All the indicators move with the music. After I stop playback and restart again it won't work. The MIDI track itself shows activity but nothing on the audio tracks or the software synth.

It's as if Protools will only send the signal to the software synth the first run though but won't after that. It has worked fine for me up until today. Anyone have this problem?

Reason should be inserted in a AUX or Instrument track, bussed to a Audio track.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I've got I think:

Midi - Reason
Track 1 - Reason plugin bus 1-2
Track 2 - Bus 1-2

As I said, it worked the first time but then not again. I didn't think I changed anything in between.

If you say your routing is correct. Could you post your system details for others to solve this problem.

...and check out this Troubleshooting Thread ...in other words you could try trashing the Prefs and Databases for a start.
