Default 192 I/O and Digital 192-- Linking question

I have an HD3 system with 2 192 I/O's and a Digital 192.

I've heard that it is recommended that the first interface in the link should be the Digital 192, then the analog ones behind it. Is this true? Or can I just hook up the Digital 192 so that it shows up as Interface C instead?

Anyone know?
