O.K. I did not remove the files from drive one. I can see where that would do the trick. However now that I know this, I still might continue to "re-link" every time I open this session. I really don't like deleting files. I might just screw up. Thanks for all the replies...

Or you could take the audio files that you copied to the second drive and put the original ones in another folder named something else. That way you don't have to delete them, they are still there.

1. You make a backup. (you already have one, right?)
2. Delete the 'drive 2' files. Color code the files, if neccessarily, with Finder. 3. 'Automatically Find and Relink' on opening the session. 4. Seconds later, you're back to work. Not difficult, right?
