C24 #3 arrived unannounced the other day. Everything works on this one & the increased output on the monitoring section is much appreciated. The only caveat to this is that the silkscreened numbering on the keyboard is already rubbing off. Especially "ENTER". Hope that's the only thing. On a side note, when I fired up this controller & was checking all the mic/line pre's, #15 came up crappy again. Some of you might remember my complaints about that same pre being "bad" on the last unit. I gotta eat crow. After calling Digi, the tech very politely suggest I check my D-sub harnesses, which I knew to be fine because I checked them. So Ireluctantly went at it again & could find nothing wrong. To make a long story short (right) I found a tiny piece of solder shorting out the hot & cold side of my tt patchbay, which I never suspected because I never get in there & it's a bear because it's sandwiched in the middle of a rack with all those harnesses going to it.
